Cleaning and Sweeping Saida’s Streets through a Joint Initiative by Nazih Al Bizri Foundation and the Association of Civil Institutions As part of the joint initiative between Nazih Al Bizri Foundation and the Association of Civil Institutions, in collaboration with Saida Municipality, workers dedicated to cleaning and sanitation have once again spread across numerous streets, neighborhoods, and commercial markets of the city. Launching a new initiative to clean and grass intermediates Nazih Bizri Foundation, in cooperation with the Association of Non-Governmental Organizations and the DPNA Association, with the contribution of Nader Azzam Company, and in coordination with the Saida municipality, launched a campaign to remove dirt, weed, and remove grass from the middles and roundabouts of the main roads in the city of Saida, provided that this campaign continues for several weeks and is complementary to the first initiative, which has been going on for more than From three months in sweeping and cleaning the streets in order to secure a clean and sound environment in the city. ppt19 ppt20

Our Commitment to Providing Vital Medications for Those in Need We at the Nazih Bizri Foundation, our primary focus since its establishment has been extending a helping hand to individuals in need of vital medications through our non-governmental organization. Instead of merely consulting with drug suppliers, we take direct action using our organization’s resources to provide these essential medications to those who require them. Our commitment lies in ensuring that individuals can access vital treatments without undue hardship, embodying our mission to make a positive impact on their overall health and well-being and we distribute medications to 500 patients monthly. ppt32

Nazih Al Bizri Foundation Joins Forces in Beach Cleanup Campaign to Combat Plastic Pollution On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Nazih Al Bizri Foundation actively participated in the campaign initiated by Human Association for Environment and Development (HEAD), Development Association for Human and Environment (DPNA), in collaboration with the Coalition of Civil Society Organizations, Friends of Zira Association, and Saida Beach. The campaign focused on cleaning the beach under the slogan “Reducing Pollution from Plastic Materials.” Our foundation is proud to support this environmental initiative and contribute to the preservation of our natural resources. ppt17 ppt18

Saida Road Restoration Project: Enhancing Infrastructure for a Better Community The Nazih Al Bizri Foundation, in collaboration with Stunch Machinery Company and Nader Azzam Company, successfully completed the restoration of Saida’s administrative roads. This ongoing project, conducted in partnership with the Municipality of Saida, aims to improve the city’s infrastructure for safer and smoother transportation. The project included repairing and paving major areas in phase one, and comprehensive improvements in phase two. We express our gratitude to all collaborators and reaffirm our commitment to ongoing initiatives that enhance Saida’s infrastructure and quality of life. ppt23 ppt24

Patient Assessments, Hospital Discounts, and Bill Settlement: Making Healthcare Accessible for All We at Nazih Bizri Foundation, we fully understand the financial strain that healthcare expenses can impose on individuals and families. As part of our ongoing commitment to the healthcare sector, we have established a program that provides significant discounts on medical services at partner hospitals. Through these collaborative efforts, our aim is to alleviate the financial burden on patients and ensure they receive necessary care without compromising their financial stability. Additionally, we offer support by directly paying specific medical bills, providing additional assistance to those in need and ensuring equitable access to high-quality healthcare. Through patient assessments, we provide medical evaluations and necessary consultations to ensure that each patient receives appropriate and suitable healthcare for their health condition. Over the past ten years, from 2013 to 2023, we have assisted individuals in settling hospital bills and obtaining discounts on them. On average, we secure monthly discounts totaling ppt31

In the city of Sidon, in partnership with the Maimouna Association, both Ahlouna Association and Nazih Bizri Foundation implemented the initiative in three official schools: Al-Omaniya School, Al-Islaah School, and Al-Rashidiya School. The initiative included providing a photocopier, an 80 KVA electric generator, as well as various office supplies such as pens, papers, and special supplies for the schools. The operational cost is estimated at $7,000, distributed among the three schools. ppt21 ppt22

Solar-Powered Illumination Initiative II With the initiative of the Nazih Bizri Foundation and support from the American University of Science and Technology (AUST), in collaboration with the municipal workshops of Sidon, the foundation has started installing solar-powered lamps to illuminate the streets surrounding the university campus in the Wastani area. 11 LED lamps were installed ppt27 ppt28

‘Education for All’ initiative in Saida “Education for All Initiative: A Collaboration between Ahlouna Association and Nazih Bizri Foundation in Sidon” In continuation of the academic year and in an effort to support the continuity of official schools, the ‘Education for All’ initiative was launched through the Maimouna Association across various Lebanese territories. The aim is to support 200 official schools by covering the operational costs, ensuring the schools’ sustainability until the end of the academic year.
